Artist Cottage : 3 Bedroom Spacious Cosy Relaxing

On the Corner of Wine Country Drive and Wilderness Road ( Nice street names! ), Lovedale Hunter Valley, this 200 square meters 2 story cottage offers a beautiful vineyard and mountain view. "Artist Cottage Ogishi Craft Centre" is situated in a central location surrounded by wineries, concert venues, restaurants and an assortment of leisure activities. Everything is a quick drive, ride or walk away.

The house was converted from Japanese Artist residence to a tourism accommodation.

Featuring a variety of art displays, the spacious but cosy cottage is able to accommodate up to 8 people. Setsuko and Yutaka work hard to maintain an essence of their Japanese heritage in the cottage.

The interior is simple but comfortable home style with wooden high ceiling and hardwood polished floor. The modern family kitchen and open floor plan with outdoor dining & BBQ facility is perfect for entreating groups.

Large upstairs space and 2 extra toilets on the property may accommodate extra guests pre-booked.

The gallery for glass, fine crafts & Ogishi Art Chocolate and the Glass blowing studio are on site. Visit while you are staying.  Glassblowing lesson is available by advance booking.

It was like a home away from home.

"It was like a home away from home when we arrived on a very wet autumn afternoon and entered the well located Cottage.Large spaces, kept immaculately clean,the polished dark floor boards,the crisp white bedlinen,the large fluffy towels, a touch of the contemporary art Deco and original prints and Setsuko's own paintings made our stay relaxed and comfortable and the fresh bread was just delightful. Coming back to the cottage at evening was like coming home to a familiar place for a good night's sleep.To meet Setsuko and Yukata was a wonderful experience.We are already planning when we can return.”
